The Radio Salon Trio I primarily a concert-trio that performs the salon music with the kind of respect which is usually reserved for the more serious chamber music, thus playing cheerful music by composers such as Johan Strauss, H.C.Lumbye and Jakob Gade to mention but a few.
The Radio Salon Trio performs regularly in chamber music societies, at schools or at events all over Denmark. The trio has also performed in Sweden and the USA.
The Radio Salon Trio was founded in 1998 and consists of three musicians with ties to the Danish Radio Concert Orchestra: Violinist Walter Gaffron, Cellist Helle Sørensen and pianist Peter Ettrup Larsen.

For more than 25 years the Dixieland band The New Orleaners has entertained audiences with happy and life-affirming, traditional jazz. The New Orleaners has performed all over Denmark and has toured The Mid West in the USA, including a TV-appearance in a show about the history of jazz.
The high musical standard of the band is put into perspective by the five band members very diverse professional careers that range from a symphonic percussionist, a professional big band musician, a member of The Copenhagen Fire Brigade, one of Denmark’s leading radiologists and a classical conductor.
This job-related diversity is one of the main reasons why the passion for the jazz-music has never faded which clearly reflects in the band’s intoxicating live-energy and joy of playing.
